Our Sustainability Commitment

CLEAN PORES, CLEAN PLANET

We have serious heart for the planet, that’s why we pledge to be transparent when it comes to our sustainability efforts. As we continue to find new ways to reduce our environmental impact, we hope you’ll join us in the work to leave our planet better than we found it. We’re in this together!

WASTE REDUCTION

We are committed to reducing waste and decreasing our carbon footprint by utilizing post-consumer recycled plastics and reducing the weight of our packaging. Our goal is to incorporate up to 50% consumer recycled plastic into all of our non-acne PET bottles in 2020 and by 2022 we are working to have post-consumer recycled materials in our caps, tubes, and more!

RECYCLABILITY

We strive to include as many recyclable materials as possible in all of our products. Currently all of our cleanser bottles & pore strip cartons are 100% recyclable. Our other products’ recyclability varies by local market and where they are not recyclable, we are committed to finding alternative ways to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging.

Recycling can be complicated! Therefore, we are partnering with How2Recycle to include labels on our products that makes it super easy to see what is and isn’t recyclable. Click here to learn more about How2Recycle.

SUSTAINABLE SOURCING

We are committed to responsibly and sustainably source all of our paperboard to help with forest conservation; therefore, we have partnered with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Learn more about SFI here or FSC here by clicking on these links.

100% of Bioré® Skincare’s cartons and corrugate shippers are sourced from suppliers that maintain SFI or FSC certifications, which means they follow the best practices in sustainable forestry standards and contribute to reforestation initiatives. And all the paperboard is recyclable!
